About this class
Thinking of learning to code, but getting lost in the tech jargon? Whether you’re interested in building your own web sites, or looking to change careers, this class will introduce you to the world of front-end web development (and programming in general).
We’ll provide an overview of front-end programming languages, tools and real life examples. We’ll talk about how front-end web development fits into the larger context of coding and design. We’ll also discuss what you need to get started as a web developer, as well as how you can learn front-end web development skills.
This class provides a overview of:
- Development tools (what you need to get started)
- HTML and CSS
- How front-end web development differs from back-end web development
- Resources to help you along the way (including some GA classes)

About the Instructor
Jose Cervantes is a digital marketing and web development professional with a decade of experience helping corporations, small businesses and individuals operate and succeed in online business. Jose has worked for corporations such as Herbalife Nutrition and FOX Networks Group, and is currently employed by OceanX.
Jose has been teaching since 2015 in the areas of digital marketing, coding and web development. In his spare time, he also enjoys helping businesses and individuals create and market their online business through his consulting business.
Jose loves writing, learning, sports, and exploring the outdoors whenever possible.
